Two years ago I was so over leggings, y’all. I’m not even joking. I started wearing leggings approximately two years before that and once the trend hit the mainstream I was done. But when I saw these particular leggings from ASOS Curve I changed my mind a bit. Maybe it was the two year break or maybe it’s because these leggings are just so rad. Either way, I’m giving these peek-a-boo leggings a big thumbs up. Paired with this cutesy little dress and black leather jacket, these leggings (and this outfit) are really working for me.

Maybe you didn’t know this, but I have a wee obsession with the country. This is most evident in my appreciation of a simple life. My wardrobe is no exception. I prefer to buy simple basics with a healthy dose of whimsy, such as the bib shirt (shown above). A bib shirt is a rustic take on the tunic. I like pairing items in a non-traditional way whenever I can. Take the cardigan with knee shorts as an example of this. It’s a little bit of an odd combination, but it works for the days that start off a little cool in the morning, but warm by noon.
