For the last couple of years (basically since I’ve graduated college and sloppy jeans and a t-shirt are no longer an acceptable every day uniform) I’ve been going through sort of a clothes revolution. Which I love. My wallet, however, is not so in love with the clothes revolution. How do you feel about consignment shopping for the plus size girls and how difficult of an endeavor is that at your average thrift store?

I like the cinched-waist look of belts, but I feel like my natural waist is too weird — it’s a good two inches lower in the front than the back, so belts sit weird and look crooked. What to do? Do I just let it sit across my stomach instead of on my actual waist?
There are a few trends out right now that tend to add a bit of volume to silhouettes. One of those trends is the bubble hem dress. Some people think just because it adds volume it’s an automatic no-no for plus gals, but I say nay!
