What item of clothing is your most expensive purchase? Where and when did you buy it? Was it worth the money you spent? How often do you wear it?

I’ve noticed that some people are opting to wear their scarves long again this winter season. I’ve seen several ladies with their long scarves belted at the waist. It creates a pleasant visual if you wear a very simple and/or single colored dress underneath it.

I am sure this is not the nicest of topics we’ve discussed here on the blog, but I am really curious to know what you think. I have been wondering about Oprah for a while. During last year, I wondered if she was secretly starting to love her rounded figure because she was discussing health a little more and discussing her weight a little less. But then, all of a sudden (just in time for January New Year’s Resolutions), she comes out with the how oh how did I get to be so fat again?

I’m glad 2008 is over. I really am. There were awesome things that happened in ‘08, but for the most part this year sucked and I was glad to see it go. Ahh! Anyway, along with a new year comes new year’s resolutions. Whatever your position on resolutions, it is the time of year to reflect on the past and project new goals for the future.

Are you going to dress up for Halloween this year?

For two years in a row, I dressed up. One year I was a French foreign exchange vampire from the 1960s and last year I was Little Black/Goth Riding Hood. This year I don’t have the budget to do anything new and creative, so I’m thinking of combining the last two years of Halloween costumes into one for this year.
