I found this yellow check top with ruffle details to be fun and sophisticated. You can dress it up for the office or wear it with a pair of jeans for a more casual look. In this outfit I use the top for a fun office outfit.

INSPIRATION
Every fall I fall in love with checks and plaids. It’s only natural for me to desire fabrics that look heartier and can stand up to the cooler weather. So this yellow check ruffled top was an instant must-have. It marries my love of this type of pattern with feminine details like the ruffle at the neckline and the blouson sleeves.

PIECE BY PIECE
My favorite piece in this outfit is the pixel icon watch from the MoMA store. While the shoes and earrings featured here are way more than I would spend (with or without a sucky economy), these are both items you can easily find for a much more budget friendly price.

Black scalloped tights from Old Navy and a beige handbag from Forever 21 finish off this cute office outfit.
