Yes, it’s finally here! Fall has arrived and I couldn’t be happier about it. It’s true that many of us have yet to get the much cooler temperatures yet, but all in good time. To further help you get into the feeling of fall I’ve put together this outfit centered around a leather jacket and a pair of oxfords.

INSPIRATION
Taking inspiration from the streets, mostly from photographs from NY Fashion Week, this outfit isn’t necessarily influenced by the runways; but rather the folks who attended fashion week. Pick up any Lucky or similar magazine and flip through it. The general message for fall seems to paint a portrait of the above outfit.

PIECE BY PIECE
This outfit is neither too sweet nor too trendy. Each piece balances out the next. The basis of this outfit is the button down white shirt and gray skirt, but it is the accessories that set the tone.

Every accessory makes a functional statement including the leather jacket, the green with white dots scarf, the black tights and the coral zipper clutch. The tapered low heel oxford adds the finishing touch.
