Fall is on its way and though we’re not there quite yet, I’ve already started thinking about variations and interpretations of the fall collections. One such collection is from Alexander Wang (via Who What Wear Daily). Alexander Wang has an edgy perspective for his women’s wear looks. Everybody deserves an edgy outfit option. Here’s ours.

PIECE BY PIECE
Taking my cues from Mr. Wang’s collection, I used a cropped bomber jacket and a skater skirt from Gap. Alexander Wang’s collection also uses hardware, like bold zippers and the color black to create some drama and edge to his sleek collection. I used a man’s watch and a chunky, twisted necklace from Urban Outfitters to add some edge with hardware.

COLOR
Alexander Wang’s Fall Collection largely uses the color black with accents of tan, white and gray. The pallet can sound a little dreary, but it is all about creating drama.
