Isn’t it frustrating when you want an item of clothing so badly that all you can do is fantasize about it, but can find it nowhere? All I can think about is finding a red plaid dress for fall. I first started my red plaid dress obsession, when I happened to see a brief clip of a photography session on PBS. A woman in a red plaid dress and a pair of fingerless leather gloves was being photographed in the desert near a car Stonehenge replica. The dress was so rich in colors and the aesthetic gave a vintage 1950s mood. I thought, wow, that’s the dress I need to add to my wardrobe.

If I had a red plaid dress I would wear it with old Dr. Martens or a high-heeled boot or pair of flats. It’d be the perfect fall dress and I’d live in it in tights or bare legs at the office or on the weekends.
