Sometimes it’s a t-shirt and jeans kind of day. Here’s a fun outfit using some of my favorite laid-back pieces.

INSPIRATION
I was feeling nostalgic for my middle school grunge-phase. I bet you grunge will be back in small details and then in full force in the not-too-distant future (give it eight seasons max before you see grunge back on the streets). I paid homage to my grunge nostalgia with these black and white plaid kicks.

PIECE BY PIECE
The bat t-shirt from Delia’s is definitely a copy of the bat logo tee by Luella, but I won’t tell if you don’t. I am a bat fan, so anything bat-centric will win my heart.

COLOR
The magenta nail polish is the one color that sets the rest of the outfit off; against the yellow of the tee and black and white patterns on the hi-tops and tote bag.
