Today’s set is all about experimenting with lilac and gray tones. In this set, I’ve paired the shimmery lilac top with a pair of charcoal gray walking shorts. Just for funsies, I kept the gray theme going when I added the bag. Then, I added touches of silver as seen in the flats, heart-shaped earrings, and a plastic diamond ring.

Plastic-diamond… oxymoron. That’s what this set should be titled, Oxymoron. Anyway…

Today, you can begin looking at ways to play with colors and tones in your wardrobe. Open your closet door and choose an outfit using two colors you wouldn’t normally wear together like blue and yellow or red and navy or, in the case of our outfit today, lilac and gray.
