I love this skirt. I bought one in the brown sugar color from Old Navy and it arrived last week. So, I’m wearing it today.
This skirt sits at your waistline and falls just at the knee.
I like the touches of bright pink in this set. It plays off the darker color: black. Slap on a pair of tights and you’re good to go.

i love this too…but i guess i’m confused on how a bigger girl wears a high waisted skirt. i’m just afraid it’ll cut me all wrong. is belting it the trick? and even so i’m afraid of it.
also, tights! that’s crazy talk! :-) it’s way too hot for tights anywhere south of the mason dixon.
Brittany, I agree that it’s awfully hot down here in the south, but I don’t mind wearing tights if I’m going to work where it’s air conditioned. Otherwise it’s all bare legs all the time!
This particular skirt has a really well defined waistline. I tired to put a belt on mine and I definitely didn’t need it, so I wore it sans belt and it was just fine.
I love highwaisted skirts they are really flattering to my figure. Well, if they set at the right part of my waist then they do. I also live in the south but i love tights and leggings so much that i just ignore the heat. =D Plus its starting to cool down anyway here in Texas.
