Here’s another menswear inspired outfit. The influences here are a little more subtle and the overall feel is softer. The top has some pintuck detail at the bust that reminds me of a tuxedo shirt. The waistcoat worn open adds another color to the look and the bag, though metallic, is not over embellished and has clean lines.

I love the shoes in this one. Camper is suddenly my favorite shoe company of the moment. They make truly interesting shoes.

You can wear this outfit to work, of course, but I also think this is a nice outfit for most business attire events like happy hour meet and greets. Houston has a lot of those in the web design community alone. My personal favorite is Refresh Houston. Anyway, I’m sure you know the type of after-work organizational cocktail hour I’m talking about.

So, for your next meet up try adding this look to the mix.

OMG those shoes… so so so cute. Eternal gratefulness to anyone who finds less expensive lookalikes. (These are $165.)
