Polyvore Set: Carry All

Maybe it’s called loyalty, or maybe it’s called being poor, but I often cling to the same handbag for both day and night. No matter the occasion, having a designated “carry all” is just convenient, and dare I say smart? My current number of the moment is a sturdy black vinyl bag with textured square impressions. I scored it at the Wasteland on 4th St Santa Monica and it was worth all 18 dollars I paid and then some. It’s adorable and fits in well at work and also at my local bar, but not all bags can perform such witchery!

Try to look for a bag that has simple, versatile details. No outrageous patterns or designs please if you’re looking for something that will traverse your miscellaneous activities. The bone colored “Katharine” satchel is a great example of a carry all. You can wear it to work, take it with you on a hot date or even work it at the grocery or liquor store. Don’t discriminate; wear it everywhere! The tortoise handle is classic and a really awesome detail. It will last forever.

The Furla orange croc bag and the fucshia Foley + Corinna purse are great if you have a low key closet that you’re looking to add life to. It instantly provides a ton of color to whatever you’re rocking. These bags also give off a professional but cool vibe which is often hard to accomplish. As long as your outfit is appropriate for wherever you find yourself, these bags will rope in a many a compliment and make you look effortlessly stylish.
