Weekly Recap: Smell the roses

This week was fantastic! There were a number of wheels being set into motion and time will tell if they will arrive on the blog in the near future. But in terms of stuff I can talk about from last week, we got some good advice that we put into action. I decided to slow it down a bit and expound on each Polyvore set post. Quality over quantity is my new blogging motto.

We gushed about our current street style muse corazones rojos and man, she sure did make me want a pair of leggings! Which is why I love street style. It can really make you rethink style choices when someone does it right.

You guys voted and your favorite Polyvore set from this week was: Gray top, black cardigan.

I don’t know what you’re doing with your weekend, but I’ve got a meeting I need to spruce up for and I’m going shopping for some accessories (a good pair of sandals, a cardigan and some necklaces). Hey, any reason is a good excuse to go shopping if you ask me!

Where’s your favorite place to shop for accessories? I’m partial to Target costume jewelry myself, but their jewelry lasts like .002 seconds with me (even the plastic jewelry!). So, I’m making a list of places I can hit up this weekend to purchase more-lasting, budget-saving accessories.

I love getting one-of-a-kind accessories on Etsy. The custom-made clothing is pretty much out of my budget, but there are many adorable accessories at very reasonable prices. I just purchased a gorgeous silver ring for $16 w/shipping. Seriously, there is something to fit every taste & every budget.

Off-topic, I enjoy this blog muchly! I visit probably every day.

Ack! Yes, Miss Laura Mars, you’re so right. I didn’t even think about Etsy, but that’s a very good place to shop for one-of-a-kind jewelry. Thanks for your suggestion.
