Here’s another menswear inspired outfit. The influences here are a little more subtle and the overall feel is softer. The top has some pintuck detail at the bust that reminds me of a tuxedo shirt. The waistcoat worn open adds another color to the look and the bag, though metallic, is not over embellished and has clean lines.

For this menswear inspired look I thought I’d do a summer outfit. To create a masculine look, this set mostly relies on the watch, glasses, shorts and hat. The white banded v-neck top and red flats both signal touches of feminine detail.

It’s back to the basics with this set. Taking a cue from our menswear theme this week, I decided to put together this black and white combination. I think the watch makes it decidedly menswear, but there are masculine touches throughout– like the no-frills bag. The scarf, worn around the neck, is a relaxed version of the tie.
