God, it’s such a crap show… but it has one redeeming quality: the style!

I started watching the show ‘Gossip Girl’ last week exclusively for the fashion (…and good thing that’s all I was looking for) and I have to say it’s a good resource for trends and styling. It’s a bit young, but this youthful wardrobe make-over should showcase your playful side and there are a couple of tricks you can do to dress it up a bit.

1. Go for one punch of color
2. Use a more sophisticated color palette (don’t just do primary colors)
3. Tone down accessories

The show’s prep-school-updated, hip high-society stylings are pretty awesome to copy, so I’ve put together several right off the set looks.
